J.J. Newberry Co., Warren Street, Hudson. Newberry's was a five-and-dime rival to Woolworth's. By the time the chain closed its Hudson store around 1997, Walmart had opened on the outskirts and Warren Street had become well known for its strip of high end antique dealers. Rather ironically, the letters from this old sign turned up for sale in the neighboring antique shops after the store closed.
