The C. V. Pierce company closed in the early 2000s after 80+ years of sales and service to
the
construction industry. C.V. Pierce also sold tractors and farm equipment to
local farmers, when Westchester County was more rural and not yet entirely a
suburban enclave.
This site was destroyed in 2007 and new homes will
likely be built on the property.
